I suggest teaching gyarados a fire type move. Gyarados can learn Fire Blast TM.

No, Fire Blast IS good because if your versing a grass type, it would be a super effective attack, and if not, teach it an ice type attack.

uhh just because its super effective doesnt mean it will do alot of damage if the pokes stat isnt high

Gyarados's sp atk is a base 60 while its attack is a 125. Fire blast wont even KO a forretress even without any spdef investments.

Now I know you dont battle competitively, your just one of those ingame players, Im probably not going to be battling you anytime. Sorry taloon

I took down the fireblast comment earlier because I dont think that its as effective as it looks, but anyone who saw that comment knows that fireblast isnt a bad move on gyrados but not THAT good like I was making it to be. Anyways here is your rate.

For starters, your team is lacking stealth rocks. Please use the move stealth rocks, I cant emphasize enough how important rocks is in the metagame right now! An easy way to fix that is change your tyranitar to specially defensive with Rocks, crunch pursuit, fireblast.

You have way to many physical hitters, making your team vulnerable to physical walls like skarmory, gliscor, hippowdown etc. I would take out gyrados for Rotom-W, it checks all the listed physical walls and letting your pokes have an easier time sweeping.

Because gyrados is taken out, your team is weak to fighting attacks, so I would take out haxorus and put in Latios with a choice specs/Life orb, They both hit pretty hard with their dragon attacks anyways.

I would take Aks advice on lucario, life orb is need for extra power and certain kills. Did you know that with life orb Lucario Close Combat does around 45% to landorus? If theres rocks up landorus cannot switch into lucario because, Close Combat+Extreme Speed will kill it.

Those are just some pokes I would suggest using, of course you can always use something else, but just make sure you team is balanced with physical and special sweepers.

I am a real decent player. I may be 12, but one thing kids are good at imagination. I imagined battling someone with a Gyarados when I saw this post. I picture being the best trainer, an thought of how to make a normal Guarados with not high special attack, and with no special move, I did some research on Serebii and then used calculator. I may look like a guy who plays soccer 7 days a week, but I love gaming, and I research for the best way to do things.

And another thing, I got an A+ in maths

First of all, props to you for coming up with an original move on gyrados. It allows gyrados ohkos things like forretress, Scizor, and do a huge chunk of dmg to skarm and ferrothorn-pokes that it normally cannot touch at all.

Now the question here is whether you actually thought all of this out or just make a 5sec comment and got insanely lucky. To clear that up why dont you rate this team and let others read what you have to say and decide what type of player you are.

Whether its luck or not, you still have my props.
