Oh a bit off topic here. But can Platinum versions wifi battle diamond/pearl? I'm thinking no but just making sure.

platinum can connect with diamond and pearl but shaymin sky form, origin form and the other forms of rotom will look like the ones in diamond and pearl

yeah eg is right
it can connect to d/p as well as the generation 3 games
dont forget the accuracy of hypnosis drops to 60 though

about your water team
i was sad that my water pokemon didnt really benefit from platinum
hope yours do....
